☮ Taos Winds ~ Music from the spirit... Music for the spirit...☮
Years of living and travelling throughout the Southwest; New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, etc., have influenced the music greatly. The mountains, the deserts and of course that grand Southwest sky touch the soul, the spirit, and opens it up to let what I call "impulse music" flourish.
"Impulse music" is what comes out of a person, not contrived, not planned, not thought out, it just happens. I have always sought to let it happen. It is what "entertains" me, moves my soul as it comes out, so I share it, as it is.
This is ancient music. It comes from an ancient place, an ancient time. It flows through this time and place we are now.
From Santa Fe to Sedona, Ouray to the Valley of the Gods, these are the places that have moved me. When you can stand on top of a mountain and watch the sun come up and the sun go down, it opens something up in you. I try to share that place through my music.
thank you so much for your amazing youtube videos and offerings. i stumbled on one of your youtube videos after i'd been listening to a crystal bowl meditation, and had a very powerful experience where my hands, arms, and then whole body started moving in beautiful, fluid movements. i tell my best friends about your videos and they too have found relaxation and balance through listening.
