This little corner of the internet is where I gather the threads of my journey; music, memory, philosophy, and the quiet inner work that shapes a life. Taos Winds Spirit Music began as a way to offer calm, healing, and spaciousness to anyone who needed it. Over time, it’s become something larger: a living archive of the paths I’ve walked, the lessons I’ve earned, and the stories that continue to unfold.

 

Here, I share reflections from my journey, my musings on consciousness, creativity, ancestry, and the subtle movements of the spirit. Some posts will be simple updates about what’s happening on the Taos Winds music channel. Others will be deeper explorations, the kind that rise slowly, but end up soaring over desert mountains. All of it comes from the same place: a desire to connect, to offer something meaningful, and to leave behind a trail of resonance for anyone who travels these paths after me.

 

I’ve lived long enough to know that every artifact we create, every song, every image, every story, carries a piece of who we are. This space is my way of preserving those pieces with intention. Think of it as a fireside space where music meets myth, where psychology meets spirit, and where the inner landscape is just as real as the outer one.

Can You Awaken Your Third Eye in a Moment?

Greeting friends,

I received a comment recently on my “Awaken Your Third Eye” video, by far my most popular video on my channel. There are several common threads in the comments of what people are seeing and experiencing, but this one stood out. The commenter said “To awaken third eye yogis struggle for years and some for a lifetime. I don’t think we can open the third eye in five minutes.”

First off, let me say that I totally understand what he is saying. I understand the work that many put in to finding this place of enlightenment. But, as you will see, there are other ways to reach that place.

Taos Winds - "The Garden"

A few years ago as I was walking along my path, I had seven seeds in my hand. I didn't really know what to do with them, so I tossed them into the dirt along my path. I came back through there a few months later, and the seeds had taken root and flourished into the most beautiful flowers. I admired them for while and then moved on along my path. Later, months later, I came back along that part of my journey and they were spreading and growing far more beautiful still. So I decided to water them, with the hopes that someday they would become a beautiful garden, filled with many flowers, birds and animals for all to enjoy.  

I named it Taos Winds, and it has indeed grown into a wondrous garden.
