15-Minute All Chakra Tuning
Taos Winds 2026 – My Story of the Serpent, the Song, and
the Seven Wheels
This is where it all began… I first released this video on my YouTube channel back in 2012, the music is from the 2000 release of the album: “Taos Winds Chakra.” The world, and I, were in a different phase of the spiral. Now, in 2026, I’m bringing it home to the Taos Winds Spirit Music and Musings site, not just as a video description, but as a story: how this 15-minute All Chakra Tuning came to be, what it’s really doing beneath the surface, and why I still stand behind it as a daily ritual for aligning the inner architecture of your being.
This isn’t just “relaxation music.” It’s a small temple in
time, fifteen minutes carved out of the noise, where the serpent wakes, the
Goddess stirs, and the seven wheels of energy remember how to turn in harmony
again.
The serpent within: Kundalini as living myth
When I speak of Kundalini, I’m not talking about a concept
in a book. I’m talking about a living current that runs through the spine of
the world and through the spine of your own body.
In this 15-minute journey, the Kundalini is invited to rise,
starting at the Root Chakra, deep in the red earth of your being, and then
slowly ascending through each center, each gate, each story you’ve carried in
your body. The energy moves:
- from
survival to desire
- from
desire to power
- from
power to love
- from
love to truth
- from
truth to vision
- from
vision to pure presence
When that current finally reaches Sahasrara, the crown, the
thousand-petaled lotus at the top of the head, something quiet and immense can
happen. Not fireworks, not drama, but a profound shift in how you feel yourself
existing. A mystical experience doesn’t always announce itself with trumpets;
sometimes it’s the simple realization that you are not separate from the field
you move through.
This video was designed as a guided ascent, a ladder of
sound and color for the serpent to climb.
Sound, color, and the subtle body
I’ve spent a lifetime working with sound, tape decks, analog
gear, digital tools, but underneath all the technology, the same truth keeps
showing up: everything is vibration.
We resonate. The earth resonates. Cells, organs, thoughts,
emotions, each has its own tonal fingerprint.
In this piece, each chakra is given its own sonic and visual
environment:
- Audio
frequencies tuned to support the energetic quality of that center.
- Colors
and visuals chosen to evoke the archetypal feeling of each wheel, rootedness,
flow, fire, air, sky, insight, and pure light.
You don’t have to “believe” in chakras to feel this. Just as
a musical instrument can be tuned or out of tune, the human system can be
coherent or scattered. When the tones and colors line up with the inner
architecture, something in you recognizes it. It’s like hearing the right key
after being stuck in dissonance all day.
This video is meant as a daily tuning fork for the subtle
body.
Daily ritual: how to use the 15 minutes
I created this with the rhythm of real life in mind. We
don’t all live in caves in the Himalayas. We live in traffic, deadlines,
notifications, and the low hum of modern anxiety. So the practice had to be
simple, repeatable, and flexible.
Here are the ways I’ve used it myself, and how I imagine you
might:
- Evening
before sleep: Let the day drain out of your system. The chakras are
like rooms in a house; this is a gentle walkthrough, turning off the harsh
lights and opening the windows.
- Morning
upon waking: Before the world grabs you, take fifteen minutes to
remember who’s actually driving the vehicle. Align the wheels before you
hit the road.
- Anytime
you feel frayed: When you notice that scattered, brittle feeling, too
many tabs open in the mind, this can be a reset button.
- During
yoga or gentle movement: I often listen while doing my own yoga
practice. The body moves, the breath flows, and the chakras are tuned in
parallel. Sometimes I watch the visuals; sometimes I just let the sound
carry me.
Between each segment, you’ll hear the clear ring of finger
cymbals. That’s not just decoration. It’s a small bell at the threshold, an
invitation to pause, recompose yourself, and step consciously into the next
chakra. Think of it as a moment to breathe, to notice where you are, before the
next gate opens.
Out of tune, in tune: the harp and the human
I’ve always seen the human energy system like a stringed
instrument, something between a harp and a cosmic radio.
When we’re out of tune, life feels resistant. The freeway
feels hostile, the line at the store feels unbearable, work feels like grinding
gears. It’s not that the world has changed; it’s that our resonance with it has
slipped out of alignment.
Imagine a harp with strings slightly off pitch. Each note
wobbles, vibrates like an unbalanced wheel. The waves clash instead of crossing
smoothly. That’s what it feels like when one chakra is overdriving, another is
shut down, and the rest are trying to compensate.
Now imagine those same strings tuned properly. The waves of
sound touch, cross, and return like water in a stream flowing over stones, no
resistance, just interaction. That’s what balanced chakras feel like: not
perfection, but coherence. The parts of you stop fighting each other and start
collaborating.
This video is built on that metaphor. It doesn’t try to
“fix” one string in isolation. It moves through all seven, because you can’t
truly balance one center without acknowledging the whole instrument.
The seven wheels: a brief map of the journey
For those who like a clear map, here are the seven chakras
as they appear in the video, each with its own tone, color, and mood:
- Muladhara
– Root Chakra The foundation. Survival, grounding, your right to
exist. Earth-red, solid, the base of the spine.
- Svadisthana
– Sacral Chakra Flow, emotion, sensuality, creativity. The waters of
the body and the tides of feeling.
- Manipura
– Solar Plexus Chakra Fire, will, personal power. The sun in your
belly, the place where you say “I can.”
- Anahata
– Heart Chakra Air, love, compassion. The bridge between the lower and
upper centers, where self and other meet.
- Vishuddha
– Throat Chakra Truth, expression, sound. The doorway where inner
reality becomes outer speech and song.
- Ajna
– Brow (Third Eye) Chakra Vision, insight, intuition. The inner lens,
the place where patterns reveal themselves.
- Sahasrara
– Crown Chakra Pure presence, connection to the larger field. The
thousand-petaled lotus, the open sky above the head.
The video walks you through each of these, not as a lecture,
but as an experience. You don’t have to memorize the Sanskrit names or the
symbolism. Just let the sequence carry you, and notice how your body and mind
respond.
Returning to the natural world within
We live in a time where humans are often detached from the
natural world, sealed in climate-controlled boxes, staring into glowing
rectangles, moving through abstract systems that have little to do with soil,
water, and sky. But underneath all that, we are still natural beings.
We resonate like trees, like rivers, like galaxies. We are
not separate from the frequencies of the world; we are expressions of them.
This 15-minute All Chakra Tuning is one small way to
remember that. It’s not a substitute for walking in the forest or sitting by a
river, but it’s a bridge, a way to bring the natural rhythm back into a life
that’s been flattened by artificial pace.
Balance can return, even in a chaotic life. Not as a
permanent state, but as a practice. You tune, you drift, you tune again. Just
like any instrument.
Why I’m still standing behind this piece in 2026
After all these years, with new tools, new projects, and new
explorations, I still feel this video holds up as a core practice. It’s simple,
direct, and honest about what it’s trying to do: help you tune and balance all
seven chakras in one sitting.
- It’s
short enough to be realistic. Fifteen minutes is a doorway most people
can walk through.
- It’s
deep enough to matter. If you show up fully, those fifteen minutes can
change the texture of your day.
- It’s
holistic. It doesn’t isolate one chakra as “the problem.” It treats
you as a whole system.
If you’re reading this on my site, Taos Winds 2026, consider
this an invitation: try it as a daily ritual for a week. Morning, evening, or
whenever your inner strings feel out of tune. Watch what happens, not in some
grand mystical sense, but in the small, practical ways:
- How
does your drive feel?
- How do
conversations feel?
- How
does your body feel moving through space?
The mythic language, serpent, Goddess, lotus, wheels of
energy, is there because it speaks to something older in us, something that
remembers. But underneath the myth, this is a very simple offering:
Fifteen minutes. Seven centers. One being, coming back
online and into tune.
